Condolences
So sorry to hear about Pat passing. I worked with her at Cat and enjoyed her friendly, cheerful attitude. When work got stressful, she helped lift our spriits. I was greatful to have her for a coworker. Peace to all of her family and friends.

So Very Saddened |
October 26, 2014 |
I was so very saddened to hear of Pat's passing while I was in Houston. It was shocking to hear things had turned so quickly ... it just does not yet seem real that we had to cancel dinner plans and less than a week later she is gone. I know it is so very hard now and it may not seem to help ease the pain and sadness much at the moment .... but she willl live on in the hearts of so many people and in so many wonderful memories! For me, there have been so many connections to Pat and you, your children, our Manual and West Peoria connections and Pat's extended Stecher family. Besides all the our old fun times ... you both have been especially supportive and kind and caring to me the past couple of years. That I will always cherish. I just wish I could have told Pat once more how much her friendship and kindness has meant and how special I thought she was!
I hope I can "pay it forward" to you and your family.
Love to all of you.

We'll miss you |
October 25, 2014 |
Lorraine and I are very saddened by this loss. Pat welcomed me in her home for the first time on Thanksgiving, while I was alone in Peoria, with no relatives to share the Holiday. She treated me like family, and I felt overwhelmed by her family's hospitality and care. I remember bringing her poinsettias, which she lived. After that, we share awesome moments, playing games at Julie's, surprinsingly meeting her and Bill at the Irish Festival at the Riverfront, welcoming Lorraine when we reunited, and during a Holiday last year.
She always made me feel liked and welcomed, and I'll miss her forever.

I've been missing Pat at work for the last few months and now I'm SO sad, that she has left us. It was such a shock. She was such an AMAZING, FUNNY and FUN person. Our Christmas parties will NEVER be the same! Rest in Peace. You WILL be MISSED.
